Starting such a vulnerable journey was quite a scary thing for my inner-self. Everyone sees self-love as this selfish thing where you plainly just have to like your body. But this is a complete misconception.
It starts with saying goodbye to your inner critic and being kinder to yourself (and others). It starts with believing that you are powerful and knowing that you are perfectly carved by God's hand and understanding that it must be quite in insult to Him to not accept yourself as is.
My body does not define who I am and that was a really hard thing for me to understand. I have been criticizing myself for some good years, but then I realized that if I start approving of myself, it will be a game changer.
I started my journey with Mia; words can actually not describe how my mindset has changed.
Learning that I am chosen, I am loved, I am beautiful, I am enough; and this all by starting to embrace my body and myself.
This journey so far has taught me how to accept myself and honestly, it has changed my life.
